Nursery - Goslings, Chicks and Ducklings

Welcome to our Nursery web page. Here you will find information about our Nursery, including a weekly newsletter.

Week beginning 17th June

Please click here for the Nursery newsletter.

Please click here for the 'All about me' sheet.

Our sound of the week will be:

Please send in 1 or 2 objects/pictures beginning with this sound on Monday and Tuesday only. These must be named. Please see myself or the Nursery staff, if you have any queries. Do look on the internet for ideas or look in a children’s dictionary for support.

On Wednesday only, we would again like to ask you to bring in 2 objects that rhyme with each other. We call this day “Rhyming Wednesday”. These could be pictures or objects that you could find like cat and hat for example. We will look at the objects in groups and see if we can find rhyming families. Children who can rhyme, often make far better progress in reading and spelling, as they see/hear word patterns far more easily.

Many thanks for your support,

Mrs Williams, Mrs Crone and staff
