Puffins - Reception Class

Welcome to the Puffin class web-page!

Week beginning Monday 14th September 2020

This week we will continue getting to know the children and helping them to settle into the routines of the class.

PE

PE is on a Thursday. Please send your child to school in their PE shorts or jogging bottoms (depending on the weather) and PE t-shirt. Jogging bottoms should be blue, black or grey. As we will mostly be doing PE outside please send them in their trainers. They will also need their school jumper/cardigan. They do not need their uniform as they will wear their PE clothes all day.

Forest School

Your child will have brought home a letter detailing which day they will do Forest School on for this half term. They need to keep their Forest School outfit and wellington boots in school. On their Forest School day they should wear their PE jogging bottoms (blue, black or grey), a long sleeved t-shirt (plain blue, black or grey), their trainers and their school jumper/cardigan. They do not need to bring in their uniform as they will wear these clothes all day.

They will be sent home from the classroom at their normal time.

Treasure Boxes

If you haven't already posted photos or videos of your child's treasure box on Seesaw we would love to see them. The treasure box can just be a decorated shoe box in which the child places different items that are important to them. These could be photos, toys or holiday memento's. It is a lovely opportunity for us to get to know the children better.
